Welcome to SnaxBites! We’re a UK-based homemade food business specialising in traditional Portuguese frozen snacks (rissóis, croquetes, bolinhos and more). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchases from us.

By placing an order with SnaxBites, you agree to the following terms:

1. Who We Are
​

SnaxBites is a UK-based company that produces and sells uncooked frozen homemade Portuguese starters and snacks. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the "data controller" of your personal information.

2. Products
​

  • All our products are handmade and frozen for freshness.

  • We do not use preservatives or artificial additives unless clearly stated.

  • As a homemade operation, appearance and sizing may vary slightly from batch to batch.

  • Please read product descriptions and allergen information carefully before ordering.

3. Ordering & Payment
​

  • Orders can be placed through our website only.

  • All prices are in GBP (£). Frozen, uncooked foods are zero-rated under UK VAT rules.

  • All prices shown are final — no VAT is charged.

  • Payment must be made at checkout via accepted payment methods (e.g. debit/credit card, Apple Pay).

  • You will receive an order confirmation email after successful payment.​

 
4. Shipping

  • Please refer to our Shipping Policy for full details.

  • We deliver frozen products across mainland UK only.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the delivery on the first attempt.

  • SnaxBites cannot be held responsible for spoilage due to missed deliveries or incorrect addresses.​

 
5. Cancellations & Refunds
​

  • Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch. Once your order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, returns are not accepted.

  • If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or thawed item, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos for a refund or replacement.​

 
6. Allergens & Dietary Info

Our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens as Celery, Gluten, Crustaceans, Eggs, Fish, Lupin, Milk, Molluscs, Mustard, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Sesame Seeds, Soybeans, Sulphur dioxide and sulphites.

Please email us before ordering if you have any questions about ingredients or allergens. We do not guarantee an allergen-free environment in our kitchen.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (including photos, branding, and product names) is the property of SnaxBites and may not be copied, distributed, or used without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SnaxBites shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of our website or products.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
